The spirit warrior nodded and then spoke in a heart-stoppingly familiar voice "I should hope so! After all those sweet nothings you have whispered in my ear." she said and powered down revealing a very recognisable petite figure.

"Trini!" he exclaimed amazed and alive with hope. If Trini was coming with them then that was most of his reservations dispelled in a moment. How close he had come to letting it all go...he became abruptly very conscious of the Letter poking from his pocket and resolved to destroy it as soon as possible.

He turned and looked at Skye who was grinning smugly. "So that's what you were doing!" "Ouch!" Josh winced again as Egon ran a strange beam over his shoulder. Jo grinned.
          "Don't be such a big baby, Josh," she told him. "You complain worse than Peter."
          The psychologist sniffed. "I resent that," he replied loftily. Ashley squawked indignantly, shoving him again. "Am not! And don't forget that I saw you steal Andros' comb for the five thousandth time yesterday, so be nice to me or I'm telling!"

It was a good thing the hover trip was brief, because Zhane and Ashley squabbled the whole way. It was friendly bickering that made them sound more like family than anything else, but after Ashley's earlier remark he couldn't help being a little nervous about what might get mentioned. He'd rather his Ashley didn't hear too much about the other Andros' relationship with Zhane.

"I'm just going to find a comm to contact City U," Sandy said, as they disembarked high up on the side of the library. "If John and Justin don't get the generators back up quickly, the city will automatically override our independent power request and turn the lights back on. It's a real pain to get them to disengage again; there's about three pounds worth of paperwork, so I'd rather stop them now before they get that far."

          "It burns," Josh protested.
          Justin, standing beside the med table, nodded. "That's the sensation of healing, only more intense because it's sped up. Trust me, I know what it feels like. Don't worry, you're almost done."
          "There," Egon announced, stepping back. "Good as new, although there will be a small scar."
          Josh flexed the arm carefully. "Wow. That's some pretty impressive stuff." Hopping off the med table, he pulled his shirt back over his head. His gaze roamed around the Power Chamber with all it's assorted heroes. "Not that I'm not grateful, but why bring me back here instead of taking me to the hospital? I mean, isn't that the normal procedure?"

Trini smiled her dazzling smile, pleased to have surprised Billy. "Skye came and invited me to come with you. I quested for the Great Power two days ago and succeeded. Skye linked me with my spirit armour yesterday so I am ready to join the expedition." She announced serenely as if suggesting a walk in Angel Grove Park.
