All these couples around. Why did he feel he was missing out? Emily was a perfectly wonderful person and he cared for her deeply. But could he really truthfully say that he loved her? He shrank back from that question. He was tired, it was late, it was...he glanced at his watch, nearly midnight. He should have been back over an hour ago. Mind you his parents were still so glad to have him back from the Peace Summit he could swing it. He strolled onwards heading past Billy's house. Things had been so much better since Billy had gained his Powers as a Ninjetti Spirit Warrior and was able to fight alongside them again. It had to be said that he still had that distressing tendency to run off in the middle of a battle to construct a device, but that seemed to be unavoidable. Jason snorted to himself. Had there ever been a battle when Billy had not run off to construct a device or mend a zord or help out one of the others? Glancing across out of habit he noticed that the garage light was still on as he walked past and wondered if Billy was tinkering in his lab. On impulse, he turned up the driveway and tapped on the open door. Hearing no response he walked in expecting to see Billy hunched over his lab table or at the computer. "I'm gonna tell you all about the Deshaadra. What you can expect as my apprentice, from other members, from the Council, and from the galaxy at large. How much did Ecliptor tell you about us?" Andros shrugged again, a slight movement of his shoulders that did little to dispel his drowsy façade. "You dared me," he murmured, not looking over at her.

"You dared me first!" she shot back. The conversation was becoming audible to their neighbors, so she shut her mouth and ignored him for the next few minutes. Apparently a bored Andros was one thing she should remember to avoid in the future.

On the other hand... Her lips curved a little, and she had to admit seeing him like this was infinitely preferable to the way he'd been on KO-35. Maybe moving back there was the wrong idea. Maybe he should come here. Maybe I could just kidnap him, Ashley mused, wondering how difficult such a thing would be.

She shrugged. "Not a whole lot. Just that the Deshaadra are the only organization in the galaxy to have the respect of both the Alliance and the Council."
Duke nodded. "I don't do jobs for the Alliance, and the Council wouldn't touch me with a ten-foot pole, but there are a lot of Deshaadra who work one side or the other. Since you're looking at being Queen of Triforia, you probably won't be taking on many jobs, so you shouldn't run afoul of anybody who works the Alliance. That's the beauty of being my apprentice. Since you don't belong to a garal, you can pick and choose who you wanna work for- and with.
