Master Vile, Rita and Lord Zedd were in the middle of one of their frequent family arguments.

Master Vile scowled at their obvious scheming."But I am not going to spend all the revenue from an entire years ill gotten gains on one Ultimate Weapon. They never stay Ultimate for that long anyway.""Salad or dinner?" Skull winced as Kim elbowed him in the ribs. Soon the six Rangers were all gathered in the area where two tunnels diverged.
          Kat frowned. "Do you suppose this is another test?" Justin looked momentarily sheepish. "Yeah," he admitted. "We didn't realize it could happen until yesterday, when Andy and Lee's connection to the Power wasn't as strong as their counterparts'. We thought that was strange, since it was supposed to be stronger in our dimension, but then it occurred to me that their counterparts never shared the Power. There's only one Astro team in JT's dimension, not two."

Andros was silent at that, and Ashley spoke up quickly. "There weren't any Psycho Rangers in his dimension?"

"From what JT says, Dark Spectre has other uses for his power in their dimension." Justin frowned for the first time. "They're at war there, you know. The Turbo Rangers left Earth to reinforce Eltare before it fell, but they lost their powers in the battle, same as we did. I don't know what happened to Earth."

          "More than likely," Trini replied. "Check for inscriptions or something."
          The six spread out, and began examining the cave walls for markings. "Hey, I found something!" Cassie called. "Who's Thomas the Rymer?"
          Andros frowned. "What?" The other five quickly moved to stand behind Cassie, who faced an inscription on the cave wall.
          "Take the road of Thomas the Rymer," Kat read aloud. "I have no idea what that means."
          "The Third Road!" Skull yelped, causing everyone to turn to him in surprise.
          "What?" Kim asked, speaking for all of them.

Zedd strode forward to protest. He hated being subservient to Rita's father; it stuck in his throat to ask for help, but this time they really had something. Just as he was about to speak the bloodfire Wave struck them all. Zedd's staff glowed furnace red, arcing lightening to Rita's staff. All three of them glowed red and when the effect past, they were all grinning in delight.
